An Uplogix implementation typically includes one or more centralized Uplogix Control Centers (UCCs) and as many Uplogix Local Managers as you need to provide local management for your network devices and critical servers. Every Local Manager runs the Uplogix Local Management Software (LMS).

There are two ways to get Local Managers today:

• Use a purpose-specific Uplogix Device that comes with Uplogix LMS
• Install Uplogix LMS on the SRE Blade of a properly configured Cisco UCS Express Router
