HTTP & TCP/IP

Web-based Transactions (HTTP)

Synthetic HTTP-based transactions are executed locally at each location where Uplogix SRM appliances with Advanced RMOS are deployed. DNS lookup, connection setup time, time to first byte and time to last byte are measured.

Raw Socket (TCP/IP)

Often called a TCP “handshake”, the round-trip connection establishment process more accurately measures the network portion of the communication by isolating much of the delay associated with the server itself, such as load and content rendering.

TCP/ IP roundtrip connection data evaluates raw network performance without the application protocol overhead.

It's vital for organizations to adopt technologies that improve performance and reliability, while reducing the time and expense associated with managing remote offices. Uplogix products address these concerns in a single appliance.”
